From humble beginnings in a Brandon gas station, Box of Cubans has grown into a community favorite, now earning national recognition as one of the top sandwich shops in the US. As a family-run spot, we blend tradition and creative flair, serving up great sandwiches and bold Cuban coffee. Here, familiar faces, vibrant music, and the rush of a busy kitchen set the scene for a meal that feels like home. In the Cuban Culture, family is everything. Family gatherings consist of great salsa music, camaraderie, and dancing. While this electrifying environment is taking a life of its own, what is always consistent is the aroma of Lechon pulled pork and black beans being prepared in the background. For us, food is the ultimate manifestation of love. Here at Box of Cubans, our commitment to our loyal community is to prepare our dishes with the same love, attention, and diligence that our Abuelita did for us all while we were growing up. As a family run business, we are committed to spreading our love for food and culture to the world while remaining in step with Abuelita's values. The familial bond among the BOC staff is the secret ingredient that goes into every Cuban Sandwich, Café con Leche, and customer interaction.
